Kid's Korner/Morning Munchkins Camp (Age 3 yrs. and 4 yrs. Entering Gr. 2) • Register • View Cart •

Your child will have non-stop fun this Summer in the Kid’s Korner/Morning Munchkins  interactive and educational camp that consist of two week thematic units culminating with a big event day at the end of the session. 

The Kid’s Korner/Morning Munchkins Camp is an enriching program for children who have reached their 3rd birthday by the start of the session enrolled in (proof of age required must be toilet trained) through those entering 2nd grade. 

The youngest group of campers is called, Morning Munchkins.  Children are placed in groups according to proximity of age.  Campers will enjoy a variety of activities including: arts and crafts, educational themes, parachute play, painting, water days, outdoor and indoor creative play, games, story time, scavenger hunts and family friendly event days in this fun and inclusive camp. For a special treat popsicles are served every water day and special snacks are enjoyed on event days including ice cream. There is a new theme each session to keep your child/ren captivated all Summer long.  During each session, campers will put on an interactive event day to cap off the session that parents and caregivers are invited too. Delicious snacks will be served at the event day and much fun is had.  Please be sure to let us know if your child has any food allergies.
 
Please have children wear sneakers, apply sun block on your child before camp and pack a snack with water/juice that is labeled each day to camp. 

We will also have a fun Sprinkler day on Tuesdays each week.  Please have your child wear a swimsuit/swim attire under their camp close that day and bring a towel. If there are thunderstorms, we will move the sprinkler day to another day during the camp week and parents will be notified in advanced. 

The following camps are held directly after Kid's Korner/Morning Munchkins Camp at Spaulding School Cafeteria A/B.  If your child also enrolls in these programs they are welcome to stay at camp for the duration of the day. Please pack and extra snack/lunch for your child on these days. These camps are taught by the Kid's Korner/Morning Munchkins Staff. 
Fitness and Nutrition Fun: June 25, 26, 27,  12:30pm - 2:30pm  
Paint It Camp:                      July 9, 10, 11, 12:30pm - 2:30pm  
Crafty Kids Camp:              July 16, 17, 18, 12:30pm - 2:30pm 
Suffield Summer Spirit  and Cheerleading:  July 30, 31, August 1, 12:30pm - 1:30pm

NOTE: No Camp on Thursday, July 4 & Friday, July 5.

 

General Information
  • All children should wear sneakers, socks and bring a snack and drink to camp each day, and swim suit and towel to camp on sprinkler days (held on Tuesdays)
  • No open toe footwear. (Water shoes are encouraged on Tuesday for water day)
  • During hot days, remember to bring extra water and wear sun protection/bug spray every day to camp. (We will be going outside on the fields on many days of camp)
  • Please note if your child has any food allergies in their medical form. (If your child requires an Epi-Pen, additional paperwork must be filled out and completed before the start of camp) Please list if your child requires and Epi-pen. The paperwork must be completed and signed by your child's Doctor by the Wednesday before your child's camp session. Also, please let us know if you child has a food sensitivity or allergy as we serve popsicles/ice-cream/small snacks on special days and will want to include a snack that they can have) The Epi-Pen paperwork must be completed one week prior to the start of the camp or program session.
  • Registration closes on the following dates and/or earlier if enrollment reaches maximum capacity.
  • For Session 1: June 14
  • For Session 2: June 28
  • For Session 3: July 12
  • Limited enrollment for all options.
  • Sibling Discount for RESIDENTS ONLY will be applied upon check out.

About Our Camp
  • The youngest group of campers is called the Morning Munchkins! (all children must be potty trained and be 3 years old)
  • Children are placed in groups according to proximity of age/grade.
  • Campers will enjoy a variety of activities including: arts & crafts, fun educational themes, parachute play, painting, mindfulness, nature based activities and theme day adventures all while making new friends. There is a new, engaging theme each session. No session is ever the same.
