Composting
Come celebrate Earth Day early as we kick-off spring with a Composting Workshop for the whole family on Monday April 1st from 5:30pm - 7pm at the Senior Center hosted by Sustainable Suffield, Suffield Youth Services and the Parks and Recreation Department. Starting at 6pm speakers from the UConn Master Composter program, Deanna Fontaine-Motyl and Beth Ann Loveland-both UConn Master Composters, will teach us about the science, benefits, and best practices of composting. There will also be time to have your specific questions answered! A pizza dinner and snacks will be served from 5:30-6:00 p.m.!  Please register by Wednesday, March 27 at suffieldrec.com.
