Leave your ‘i-Gadgets’ and ‘techy toys’ at home!  You won’t need them with all the outdoor fun at this interactive camp!  Children will have good old fashion fun, show off their creativity with special events, talent shows and arts & crafts.  Nature exploration, adventure games, sports and trendy children’s activities will all be played daily and change weekly, all stressing team cooperation, acceptance and fun.  There is a new theme each session to keep campers captivated all summer long.  Free swim and basic swim stroke review will be part of this camp, contingent upon the hiring availability of certified waterfront staff. This camp is filled with action packed adventures including: Team building games, scavenger hunts with cool prizes, geo caching, nature hikes, special events, water slide days and back by popular demand: Trips to the Suffield Academy Outdoor Leadership Center with ropes courses, climbing walls and awesome confidence building games. Don’t be a couch potato this summer, call your friends and have a blast at Tween Adventure Camp! Free swim and basic swim stroke review will be part of this camp, contingent upon the hiring availability of certified waterfront staff. (This is not an American Red Cross sanctioned program).   Children must participate in swim stroke review. Your child will have non- stop fun this summer in the Kids Korner/Morning Munchkins  interactive and educational camp!   The Kid’s Korner/Morning Munchkins Camp is an enriching program for children who have reached their 3rd birthday by the start of the session enrolled in (proof of age required-must be toilet trained) through those entering 2nd grade.  The youngest group of camp is called The Morning Munchkins.  Children are placed in groups according to proximity of age.  Campers will enjoy a variety of activities including:  arts and crafts, educational themes, parachute play, painting, water days, outdoor and indoor creative play, games, story time, scavenger hunts and family friendly event days in this fun and inclusive camp. For a special treat popsicles are served every water day and special snacks are enjoyed on event days including ice-cream where parents are invited to join in on the fun.   There is a new theme each session to keep your child/ren captivated all summer long.    At the end of each session, campers put on an interactive event day where parents and family are invited to attend.  Snacks are served and much fun is had. NOTE: No Camp on Wednesday, July 4.

Your child will have non- stop fun this summer in the Kids Korner/Morning Munchkins  interactive and educational camp!   The Kid’s Korner/Morning Munchkins Camp is an enriching program for children who have reached their 3rd birthday by the start of the session enrolled in (proof of age required-must be toilet trained) through those entering 2nd grade.  The youngest group of camp is called The Morning Munchkins.  Children are placed in groups according to proximity of age.  Campers will enjoy a variety of activities including:  arts and crafts, educational themes, parachute play, painting, water days, outdoor and indoor creative play, games, story time, scavenger hunts and family friendly event days in this fun and inclusive camp. Children will learn basketball skills, techniques and drills in a fun camp atmosphere.  They will enhance their shooting, dribbling, passing, ball handling, rebounding/blocking out, defense and individual offensive moves, including moving without the ball.  Campers will expand upon their skills and play games.  Children will be broken into coed groups of Grades 3 - 5 & Grades 6 - 8. This exciting, fun and highly charged summer program is being offered for children ages 6-12 yrs old. Mornings will consist of exciting Acting/Theater classes and Movement. The acting classes consist of creative theater games, concentration exercises, voice and speech work and structured improvisation to improve performance. Other topics include: monologue work, acting terminology, stage skills, script work and more. These classes will help students build confidence and inspire their imagination in a fun and supportive environment. The movement classes include high energy movement to musical theater music. Your child will have non- stop fun this summer in the Kids Korner/Morning Munchkins  interactive and educational camp!   The Kid’s Korner/Morning Munchkins Camp is an enriching program for children who have reached their 3rd birthday by the start of the session enrolled in (proof of age required-must be toilet trained) through those entering 2nd grade.  The youngest group of camp is called The Morning Munchkins.  Children are placed in groups according to proximity of age.  Campers will enjoy a variety of activities including:  arts and crafts, educational themes, parachute play, painting, water days, outdoor and indoor creative play, games, story time, scavenger hunts and family friendly event days in this fun and inclusive camp. In this fun, hands-on class children will learn basic cooking skills, food safety, equipment safety, basic measuring, food portions, nutrition education and more.  You will learn to master classic recipes such as macaroni & cheese, homemade pancakes, marinara sauce, grilled cheese, and chocolate chip cookies.  We will balance time in the kitchen with time spent being active including outdoor activities, games and exercise. 
 
9:00 AM - 11:45 AM    Basketball World Clinic (Coed Entering Gr. 3-5 & Gr. 6-8) - Basketball World Clinic
Children will learn basketball skills, techniques and drills in a fun camp atmosphere.  They will enhance their shooting, dribbling, passing, ball handling, rebounding/blocking out, defense and individual offensive moves, including moving without the ball.  Campers will expand upon their skills and play games.  Children will be broken into coed groups of Grades 3 - 5 & Grades 6 - 8. Balls will be provided on site for children to use.  During hot days, remember to bring ample water.

This exciting, fun and highly charged summer program is being offered for children ages 6-12 yrs old. Mornings will consist of exciting Acting/Theater classes and Movement. The acting classes consist of creative theater games, concentration exercises, voice and speech work and structured improvisation to improve performance. Other topics include: monologue work, acting terminology, stage skills, script work and more. These classes will help students build confidence and inspire their imagination in a fun and supportive environment. The movement classes include high energy movement to musical theater music.
