The Parks and Recreation Commission meets regularly on the second Wednesday of each month unless otherwise specified, at 7:00 PM at 83 Mountain Road, Conference Room.
The Parks and Recreation Commission consists of seven (7) regular members and two (2) alternate members. The Commission continuously evaluates recreational programs and welcomes new ideas to meet the current trends and needs of the community. The Commission works together with other town departments, leagues, clubs and groups, to continue improving recreational programs and services offered. The Commission supports the Parks & Recreation Mission Statement: To enhance the quality of life by providing a variety of affordable programs, quality parks, facilities and services to meet the needs of both passive and active recreation for Suffield's growing community.
